Thai Massage is a holistic and meditative style of bodywork founded in Buddhism and Thai Medicinal Theory. It uses compression paired with passive dynamic stretching to relieve tension and create openness in the body - it’s sometimes referred to as "lazy yoga".
In an age where pain is often a result of sedentary lifestyles and/or repetitive movements, Thai massage can be especially effective by breaking up these patterns and allowing the body to experience its full range of motion. Being performed on the ground and fully clothed, this work can also be especially nurturing.
