This spectacular park on Maury Island combines a forest walk descending to the beach where Mount Rainier welcomes you. We have partnered with King County Parks to offer 6 primitive campsites, extending your stay after dark, so you can listen to the waves from your tent and wake up to the majestic mountain across the water.
Hike, bike or paddle in to your campsite (3/4 mile walk from the parking lot).
The park map has directions and trail information to help you plan.
This is a pack in and pack out facility and fire is prohibited. The amenities at this site include use of the picnic shelter, porta-potty, picnic table near the campsites and a kayak/paddleboard storage rack off of the beach trail. To protect the park, please abide by the camping rules.
ALCOHOL AND FIRE ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
